The Anadoludakiler Cooperative Camp, designed to preserve and strengthen Anatolia’s culture of production, local knowledge, and spirit of solidarity, will be held at Cappadocia University from 20–24 July. Organised as part of the Anadoludakiler Project and the Local Development Initiative, coordinated by the General Directorate of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, the camp’s training programme will be delivered by Cappadocia University. The programme will bring together cooperatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals engaged in local production.
Throughout the camp, Anatolia’s rich heritage—shaped by its fertile land, culinary traditions, and skilled craftsmanship—will be explored through topics ranging from production and branding to digital visibility and sustainable business models. Participants will take part in a hands-on learning experience aimed at making this unique heritage more visible, more competitive, and more sustainable.
During the programme, participants will meet with Cappadocia University academics and industry experts to receive training on branding, social media management, product photography, e-commerce, team management, organisational structures, partnerships, and collaborative networks. The programme aims to help local producers effectively communicate their stories, transform their products into value-added brands, and reach wider audiences through digital platforms.
Placing Anatolia’s culture of production, action, and solidarity at its core, the camp approaches the cooperative model not only as an economic structure but also as a means of strengthening social solidarity, supporting local development, and carrying collective effort into the future. Participants will also examine successful case studies on-site and become part of a nationwide collaboration network that encourages new partnerships and shared learning.
Open to cooperatives, entrepreneurs, professionals working in agriculture and food production, and artisans engaged in traditional craftsmanship, the camp aims to preserve Anatolia’s heritage, adapt its long-standing culture of cooperation to contemporary needs, and foster innovative models that contribute to regional development.
Applications for the Anadoludakiler Cooperative Camp, which has limited capacity, will be accepted between 22 June and 10 July 2026 through the anadoludakiler.org website.
