Cappadocia University maintained its place in the Top 500 by increasing its success rate in UI GreenMetric 2024 World Rankings

The UI GreenMetric World Ranking 2024 evaluation results have been announced. Our university ranked 399th out of 1477 universities from 95 different countries, continuing its success as one of the top 500 sustainable world universities.

Cappadocia University, which ranked 8th among 28 foundation universities in Turkey in the previous year, ranked 9th among 33 foundation universities in 2024. In addition, our university, which ranked 34th among 97 Turkish universities in the previous year, ranked 38th among 120 Turkish universities in the 2024 evaluation.

World Ranking Success Rate
While our university’s success rate in the world ranking was 49.74% in 2019, it increased to 72.98% in 2024.

Turkey’s Overall Ranking Success Rate
Our success rate among Turkish universities increased from 58.14% in 2019 to 68.33% in 2024.

Foundation Universities Ranking Success Rate
Our success rate among foundation universities in Turkey, which was 71.43% in 2019, reached 72.73% in 2024.

2024 Category-Based Performance

Transportation
In the 2024 assessment, our university ranked 12th among all Turkish universities and 3rd among foundation universities.

Energy and Climate Change
Our university, which ranks 10th among foundation universities, has increased its score in this area.

Waste Management
It ranked 13th among foundation universities and maintained its performance in this area.

Education and Research
It ranked 10th among foundation universities and 46th in the national ranking.

Total Score and Overall Performance

Cappadocia University received its highest overall score in the 2024 ranking since its first participation in 2019. Our university increased its scores, especially in the “Building-Infrastructure,” “Energy and Climate Change,” and “Transportation” categories, while maintaining its scores in the “Water,” “Waste,” and “Education-Research” categories.
