Our University to Deliver the Green Sustainable Tourism Certification Auditors Course under the Erasmus+ Sustainable Eco-Tourism Awareness Project
As a partner of the Erasmus+ Sustainable Eco-Tourism Awareness project, our University will deliver the Green Sustainable Tourism Certification Auditors Course. Integrating training, mentoring, and consultancy, the project aims to support economic development in the tourism sector, create employment opportunities, and strengthen environmental sustainability.
Through this course, our University seeks to train auditors equipped with advanced green skills and competencies in the field of sustainable tourism. The training programme is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical capacity in sustainable tourism practices, environmental impact management, and green transition processes.
One of the course’s primary objectives is to strengthen institutional expertise in green certification processes. In this context, participants will develop competencies related to sustainable tourism certification criteria and auditing mechanisms, contributing to the development of a qualified and specialized workforce within the sector.
The educational activities carried out within the scope of the project also aim to raise awareness of sustainable tourism and encourage active engagement among sector stakeholders. This approach emphasizes sustainability not merely as a theoretical concept but as a practical and measurable framework that can be effectively implemented in real-world settings.
