🌍 “Small Steps Create Big Differences!”
On April 9, 2025, our Zero Waste Day – Waste-Free Soup Making Event at the Uçhisar Art Campus of Cappadocia University was completed with a socially and environmentally conscious approach. Our students and volunteers came together to raise awareness about food waste and to promote sustainable kitchen practices, bringing creativity to life in a zero-waste kitchen.
Highlights from the Event:
🍲 Waste-Free Soup, Zero Waste: During the event, nutritious and delicious soups were prepared using vegetable scraps, peels, and unused ingredients often considered waste. This not only prevented food waste but also raised awareness.
🌱 Community awareness and environmental sensitivity came together: Participants engaged in interactive conversations on sustainability and zero waste and were informed through awareness-raising content.
👩🍳 Future Chefs Cooked for Sustainability: Organized by the student community, the event added value to nature and our plates through creative culinary solutions.
