World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete well-being” and it is also recognized as a fundamental human right in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. “Complete well-being” encompasses physical, emotional, and social health, while health and life point to a broad perspective in which all these elements are considered together.
Held online on 22–23 August 2025, the II. International Cappadocia Congress on Health and Life brought together numerous disciplines through its thematic areas, aiming to address various dimensions of health from a comprehensive perspective. Under the theme of Innovations in Health, innovations in health technologies; under Social Approaches to Health, health policies, health management, and current issues in healthcare; under Holistic Health, therapeutic healthcare services, preventive health practices, and complementary medicine applications; under Health and Nutrition, foods that have positive effects on the human body, promote health, and reduce the risk of disease; and under Health and Life, topics related to environmental health, the relationship between health and sports, and health psychology were examined through 35 presentations.
This book contains the abstracts of the papers presented by distinguished scholars who contributed to the congress. We hope that this collection will inspire future research and serve as a foundation for further studies. We are pleased and proud to present this valuable work to our readers.
