Project Summary
In this troubled period the world is going through, expecting to find solutions through division, isolation, and polarization is futile. It is believed that the way out of the social, cultural, moral, and economic crises faced by the East and the West lies in bringing together intellectuals from all walks of life. In line with this, Kapadokya University has set itself the mission of creating a platform for dialogue by gathering leading intellectual figures from almost every region of the world. Within the project’s scope, 16 online conferences will be organized, and a policy document will be prepared after each conference. These documents will be compiled and published as a book at the end of the project, presenting a scientific and objective work on the path out of the deep crisis the world is experiencing in the 21st century. The project duration is 22 months. The “A Shared Vision for Humanity and the Planet” project will be implemented with the support of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey’s Directorate of Communications.
