The results of the 2024 Social Development Support Program (SOGEP), implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, have been announced.
Our “Cappadocia Slow Food Earth Market” project has been selected for support under the 2024 SOGEP program by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology. Developed with contributions from Ahiler Development Agency (AHİKA) and led by our faculty members Dr. Mine Erdem Büyükkiraz, Dr. Selda Öztürk, Dr. Aygül Akkuş, and Arzum Karabıyık, the project aims to empower women producers of local agricultural products in Cappadocia.
The initiative will enable these producers to sell their goods at fair prices directly to consumers within the framework of good, clean, and fair production principles. By facilitating their integration into economic life, the project seeks to improve participants’ quality of life and increase their earnings.
