Hosted by our university and organized in memory of our founder Alev Alatlı, the Cappadocia Gastronomy, Food and Tourism Research Congress (KAPGTAK) will provide a platform for academics working in gastronomy, food, tourism, and sustainability to share their research and strengthen interdisciplinary interactions and collaborations.
KAPGTAK aims to provide an in-depth platform for sharing and discussion, encompassing the scientific, cultural, and sectoral dimensions of gastronomy, food, and tourism. The congress will be held in an unforgettable atmosphere featuring inspiring topics, distinguished speakers, and innovative studies. Organized in line with our university’s core values of “Reason, Morality, Justic,e and Decorum”, the congress will cover a wide range of topics from gastronomy tourism to molecular gastronomy, from geographically indicated products to sustainable food innovations.
