Our university has received the Biosphere Corporate Sustainability Certificate thanks to its corporate sustainability efforts.
Our work towards the Biosphere Sustainability Certification system, which we applied for in the 2023-2024 academic year, was successfully completed as of August 2024. Through its corporate sustainability initiatives aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda, our university earned the right to receive the Biosphere Certificate.
With the application for certification, the university’s policies, practices, activities, and projects in environmental, social, and economic sustainability were evaluated by international experts. The Biosphere Certification recognizes the university’s steps in sustainability at the global level and emphasizes its commitment to building a sustainable future.
