Cappadocia University Hosted the 1st International Eco-Friendly Digital Governance Conference
The 1st International Green Digital Governance Conference, hosted by Cappadocia University, was held with the participation of national and international experts in the fields of digital governance, environmental sustainability, and financial management.
At the opening of the conference, At the opening of the conference, Hüdai Ekinci, Chairman of the Board of the International Governance Professionals Association, highlighted the growing global importance of digital governance. Prof. Dr. Lourens Erasmus, Cappadocia University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, and numerous academics and experts contributed to the conference’s various sessions.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar recalled that humanity has faced many crises throughout history, stating:
“Every crisis has taught us something. However, this new era shaped by climate change and digital transformation demands far more comprehensive and collaborative solutions from all of us.”
As part of the conference program, Dr. İlhan Hatipoğlu, Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance, addressed financial governance and the role of artificial intelligence applications in digital management. Hatipoğlu provided participants with extensive information on current strategies and practices in this field.
Representing the Presidency Digital Transformation Office, Osman Turan also shared his experiences in digital transformation and strategic governance, emphasizing the implementation processes of digital projects in Turkey and the importance of governance mechanisms.
Supported by national and international experts, the conference was successfully completed, aiming to raise awareness in digital governance and environmental sustainability, strengthen knowledge sharing, and pave the way for new collaborations.
