With the collaboration of Kapadokya University and GSTC, the GSTC Sustainable MICE Training Program—the first of its kind in both Turkey and the world within the MICE sector—has been launched.
Organized by our University and distinguished as a global and national first, the GSTC Sustainable MICE Online Course will take place between 11–14 November 2025. The training covers the new global sustainability standards for the MICE industry, announced by GSTC in 2024 (the GSTC MICE Standard), along with international best practices. The program offers significant opportunities, particularly for GSTC Level 3 Auditors.
Opportunities for GSTC Auditors
The course is especially important for current GSTC Level 3 Auditors. Auditors who successfully complete the training and pass the subsequent examination administered by GSTC will be entitled to become GSTC Sustainable MICE Auditors. This qualification provides internationally recognized expertise and opens new career pathways at the global level.
Throughout the course, participants will engage in an online learning environment with GSTC trainers and industry professionals, gaining a comprehensive perspective on how sustainable practices can be implemented through global case studies and real-world examples. During the one-week interactive online training, participants will also be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to improve sustainability practices within the MICE sector.
