Our university has added a new one to its efforts for an environmentally friendly and sustainable future. A “Corporate Sustainability and Waste Management Training” was organized for our cleaning and security staffs.
Our university continues to set an example in sustainability not only through its academic activities but also by implementing training and awareness programs that include all employees. In this context, we carry out initiatives at every level to uphold our environmental responsibility, aiming to leave a more livable world for future generations.
The training, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Akıllı, Chair of the Sustainability Commission, and Dr. Selda Öztürk, Coordinator of the Sustainability Office, helped our staffs to become more conscious about sustainability while reinforcing our university’s environmental sensitivity. The program provided comprehensive information on sustainability principles, recycling and reuse of waste, and effective waste separation and management.
