This seminar will explore the impact of farmers’ markets on income distribution, biodiversity, and rural development. Drawing on examples from Africa and around the world, speakers will share policy and financial levers for sustainable development and discuss the connection between local production and global progress.
Participants will gain insights into the sustainable strategies implemented in these markets, learn about their social benefits, and engage in discussions on how economic development and environmental sustainability can be achieved in tandem.
The seminar is open to the public and will be broadcast live on YouTube.
