Theme of the Contest
The theme of the contest is Biodiversity. Within this scope, plant and animal species, ecosystems, natural habitats, and elements that contribute to biodiversity in Cappadocia and its surrounding areas are included in the contest.
Purpose of the Contest
The aim of the contest is to document the biological richness of the Cappadocia Region through photography, to raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainability, to support the art of photography, and to encourage young photographers.
Organization of the Contest
The contest is organized by the Cappadocia University Sustainability Office and the Sustainable Development Society.
Contest Schedule
- Start Date: January 15, 2026
- Application Deadline: June 1, 2026 – 11:00 PM
- Jury Meeting: June 8, 2026
- Announcement of Results: June 15, 2026
- Award Ceremony: To be announced later
Awards
- First Prize: 12,000 TRY
- Second Prize: 8,000 TRY
- Third Prize: 5,000 TRY
