Project Summary
The Cappadocia region is one of Central Anatolia’s most important tourism centers, known for its rich natural and historical beauty. However, its recognition in terms of gastronomy is relatively low. Numerous studies have indicated that tourists visiting a destination spend the most on gastronomy. Considering the region’s tourism activity, discovering, promoting, and explaining the preparation of local dishes will contribute to its recognition. Having a visually enriched website that can accurately convey this information will serve as an essential resource for informing visitors to the region. With this goal in mind, the project aims to research the rich cuisine, food and beverage establishments, and local products of the provinces in the Cappadocia region and promote them through a dedicated website.
