Every year, December 10 is celebrated worldwide as “Terra Madre Day” to highlight the benefits of local and seasonal eating and the importance of preserving biodiversity.
This year’s theme is “AGROECOLOGY.”
During this event, students will gather with producers at Ortahisar-Hereni Cooperative to learn about traditional bread-making in a tandır oven and good agricultural practices.
